Calmness of the mind

If we can bring calmness of the minds, we shall be nearer to God, as we feel God in silence and solitude. In noise and other pollution, our minds get diverted and our nerves get strained. With strained nerves, we can never get peace in life. Hence we should practice calmness even in extreme noise or material activities. Through meditation and continuous striving, we can achieve a state of calmness and silence, in which we can carry out various creative activities. In creativity, we can derive a high level of mental pleasure and peace. Even in creativity, there must be a touch of selflessness so that our actions get universal dimensions. In selfishness we live biologically, not spiritually. In simplicity, sincerity and selflessness (SSS) lies true and the hidden pleasure of life...
