Challenges in leadership style....

The most difficult thing in life is leading. Leading is a job that goes beyond doing. Leading is an invisible art of motivating,commanding and controlling without putting any pressure on anybody in any way. It is basically an art of behaving which displays honesty, integrity and strength before others. All these characteristics actually should originate from self-motivation, self-respect, self-confidence and self-learning. Leadership is a style getting things done through employment of skills and knowledge of others. Though a difficult task, some of the following actions could be taken at the personal level:

1. clearly indicating the preferences at the work-place
2. reinforcing the above criterion at every opportunity
3. sincere praisings for the fellow subordinates
4. showing respect for others, even when opinions vary
5.developing an atmosphere of trust and cheerfulness among all the members
6.striving for achieving excellence so that others learn from the examples set
7. shaping result-oriented daily work-routine
8. trying to finish a planned job by the end of the day

Management of Mental Fitness and its development......

Our mental fitness depends directly on the state of physical fitness, in the sense that if we are not physically fit, we can not be expected to be completely mentally fit. We need a strong body and a strong mind will automatically follow. I have experienced in many times in my personal life. Physical fitness though does not guarantee mental fitness, as mental cleasing process is also very much essential for a good body-mind relationship.
Mental fitness can be improved by taking regular yogic and breathing exercises. In addition to that, we should keep ourselves in in any form of devoted work or self-study of variety of subjects. If we are in the process of learning some new subject or make a habit of solving puzzles, brain-teasers or if we play chess, we are bound to improve our mental concentration. Mental concentration is at the heart of resolving many tough issues of life.

Higher level of concentartion will make the problem-solving process better and effective in many ways.Calmness of the mind can throw out most of the conflicts and turmoils of daily life....

Self-management is the biggest challenge in one's personal life and on this aspect of life depend the nature of professional and social life. If we can manage ourselves in the best possible manner, things on the professional and social front will get improved. Some areas of self-managing activities that need attention of everyone who wants to a healthy and happy life are:

1. fitness management with regular physical or yogic exercises or walking
2. diet for fitness
3. management of time  for effective implementation of daily responsibilities
4. networking with like-minded professional to fight boredom and monotony
5. using sense of humour for mental relief
6. being engaged in some creative activity in some part of the daily routine
7. having a good sleep
8. drinking sufficient quantity of water
9. remaining prepared to work hard whenever required and giving some selfless services to others for spiritual development
