Living in the present-II

The best option is to focus on the present affairs and work with pleasure. Is is a waste of time to think of the past losses/bad experience. It is good to be practical about future dreams ....

Switching off the thought-process...

I am trying to master the techniques of switching off my brain. I need some time to master the techniques. I am partly successful and I am feeling better.

It is highly relaxing for both body and mind. I had this idea of relaxing , but it got revived recently with the help of a friend.
Thinking is , most of the time, a waste of time and energy. Hence to preserve our vital energy, we should try not to think of anything for some period of time.

It is basically a method of meditation on vacuum or nothingness.

Let us give a try...
I think we can easily be energetic in all meaningful affairs of life.

God bless...

6. ability to speak clearly
7. ability to dramatize,when required
8. an attitude for developing rapport with one and all
9. an open, broad mind
10. ability of using genuine sense of humour
11. being 'involved' in the targeted job of informing and convincing
12. leading others by setting examples
13. to break monotony by involving the audience

An attitude to improve the self continuously can do the unthinkable

I used to think differently in my early life. I was wrong. I now realize that human vanity is the deathbed of one's inner quality.

I now feel that I almost destroyed myself by switching off creativity and innovative thoughts from my mind, by way of discarding many good ideas of others.

As the knowledge expands and mind broadens, I feel helpless at the limitless nature of knowledge...

Then I suddenly thought of improving myself on many fronts. I tried to be courageous. I suddenly discovered that life is an open book in which every human is uniquely rewarded with some great qualities and which betows such uniqueness on each personality. We can learn so many good things from people surrounding us without opening and reading a single book.

I now feel that we can get free study materials from real-life activities of our fellow beings. Instead of finding faults with others, we should be able to focus on the core qualities of a human being and absorb some finer qualities in our minds.

Everyday we should ask ourselves : Have I tried sincerely to improve myself ? Have I done my duties with improved attitude and skills ? Have I changed myself for the better?
Am I improving ?
Am I stagnating ?
Have I stopped finding faults with others?
Have I stopped gossiping about the weaknesses of others ?

Managing Time for a balanced living...

We should divide a day's time into some of the following components so as to ensure a cool daily life:

1. a clear picture of the day's work-routine should be carried till the time for night's sleep

2. to try to find innovative solution for the problems at hand

3. to respect quality of all works that need to be done

4. to relax the body and mind through application of sense of humor in every serious things of life; as taking life seriously is basically foolish

5. running after money is idiotic, as we shall get our dues for the actual work done by us

6. expecting anything in return to our helping anyone always brings pain to our hearts; hence it is better that we become as selfless as possible

7. regularity in physical exerise is a must for our fitness; and without fitness we can never be happy

8. we should surrender ourselves to the infinte compassion of God

9. we should say our prayers everyday

10.we should correct our mistakes and try to be a better person everyday

11. we should try control our minds to search for peace beyond materialistic pleasures of life

12. we should take genuine care of our family members with complete selflessness

13. we should never run after our own happiness, as happiness lies within our hearts and can be felt through our contribution for the happiness of others...

God bless...

Life is a struggle for freedom from sorrows

The root-causes of all my sorrows lies within my mind. A mind full of desires is a mind full of sorrows... My only struggle now is to fight against evils like smoking ... the greatest of all vices of life.

All my diseases originate from these vices I am trying to control.

Control over my mind has increased for last few years. But I need to achieve the highest level of control to lead a 'desire-free' life.

Peace lies within, not without...

The path to happiness and peace actually leads to our inner self. If we go on searching for peace outside in the material world, we never find it permanently. By controlling our senses and by focussing our minds on ourselves, we find heavenly peace.

Once we realise the Truth of life, we are no longer disturbed by external factors of life. We slowly become self-reliant. A self-reliant person only can lead a happy life. Dependence on others is a real vice of life...

Self-dependence, non-interference, and remembrance of God are the practical characteristics of a spiritual life.

We can find happy living only through 'detachment' from fruits of our honest actions.
