Spiritual Development is the effect of constant practice

Through practice we should form such habits that are favorable to our spiritual development. The process is continuous and infinite at the same time. Formation of habits takes a long time. If we try to discipline ourselves, we have to stick to the courses of actions on a daily basis. Building up of good habits needs elimination of bad habits. Bad habits results into loss of mental peace and other material goals of life. Bad habits are dissipative in nature. When major part of physical and mental energies are consumed by bad habits and poor nature of work, we are bound to be unsuccessful as a person. Good habits boosts up our energy level and we can use those creative energies for various kinds of innovative activities. When we are consistent with some good habits like punctuality, commitment of words and works, honesty, dedicated, sincerity, and compassion, we are to work with pleasure. If that becomes coupled with Devotion(Bhakti) towards God and His infinite Compassion, we shall become self-realized persons. Self-realized persons are selfless. Selflessness is the key to God-realization. Selfless actions can do the miracle in our personal life. When we work for happiness of others, we find that our own happiness is nothing but a bundle of rotten desires and animal-like behaviors. Human being can pursue such actions which ultimately benefit others.
Life is action...
Life is sacrifice...
Life is search for the Absolute Truth i.e. God...
God lies in the hearts of His devotees...
