Pleasure-seeking life can never give us real peace

A life which seeks pleasure will get frustrated in the long run. We experience pleasures which are so transient in nature and this pleasure-seeking attitude ends up in much waste of time. We should learn from our past experience that sensual pleasures are so transitory. Hence we should try to control our senses and focus them on the Ultimate Reality of life and existence. Once we realise the rubbishness of the pleasure-seeking fast life, we shall definitely find our spiritual life more and more interesting. A spiritual life is full of pleasure and happiness, as it is based upon universal truths and principles. We should therefore seek the blessings of God with true devotion and lead a normal life with a sense and feeling of renunciation and detachment.
