The great self-reminder for self improvement...


  • " I should improve" should the only realization for any professional individual 
  • People who think that 'they are great, excellent and superb' are truly making others fool
  • We must admit that we can improve on many fronts
  • For any professional, there is enough scope for further improvement & there is acute need for more perfection 
  • Professional excellence has no boundary and we should take steps to improve, even if we have 30 or 40 years' of experience...
  • We must learn continuously
  • We must improve continuously
  • Yesterday, I attended a lecture on 'improving quality in engineering education in India' , delivered by Prof. Krishna Vedula, University of Massachusettes, Lowell & the speaker stressed upon 'employ-ability skills' of our engineering graduates  by introducing 'outcome-based education' in our engineering colleges. It was emphasized that  Communication skills is the biggest challenge in the professional life and teachers must adopt newer methods of teaching for ensuring employ-ability of the learners....Problem-based learning and project-based learning are the essential requirements of today's educational systems
  • "straight talks" are the greatest requirements in today's world....
  • Clarity is essential at all phases
  • We need a set of higher skills and self-confidence for interacting with people at higher positions of the corporate world...
  • 'Listening" is an essential skills for improving the self
  • Listening is equivalent to learning and we must listen carefully
  • Lastly, we should behave like learners in our daily lives
