Practical Spiritual Life

Doing all kinds of works with humility, selflessness and devotion(Bhakti) is the ultimate form Karma Yoga. Doing karma without Bhakti may not work much, as a sense of detachment and reneunciation should be associated with all of our activities. We should plan each day with plausible targets, and the results of all such actions should be dedicated to God and the benefits of all such actions should go to the family and friends. Such selfless actions and behaviors can lead to a mental state of happiness and satisfaction. We definitely want to leave this world with satisfaction and happiness...

The power of concentration of mind...

To feel the power of concentration we must try it in our own lives. Focusing the mind on a particular job improves the efficiency. It certainly is a meditative experience. Meditating and doing a job is a new experience for many. If we focus our mind on a mssion of life, and make it our life and blood,success is bound to come. Material success is not the only criterion for being happy. Excess of money and wealth can bring with it a lot of other problems. The feeling of happiness is a unique way of responding to the outcomes of our selfless work and actions. Selflessness is the greatest religion in human life. Once we are selfless, God takes care of us. When we are in the intensive care of the Supreme Lord, we are bound to be happy. God is compassionate and kind to his creations. This compassion can not felt by everyone, untill he or she surrenders himself or herself to Him. Unconditional Surrendering to God(USG) is the path of Devotion or Bhakti. We get more and more enlightened through the path of Bhakti and Karma. Karma or action can not stop. If we introduce selflessness to our Karma or Actions, we dedicate the fruits of all our actions to God only. Karma-Bhakti,the integrated yoga, can bring us true pleasure and happiness, because we are of relieved of selfishness and in the process we get purified in consciousness. More the consciousness, more is the feeling of happiness and peace. To understand life properly, sometimes I meditate on my own death and acceptance of death relieves me of much of materialistic thinking. The ultimate Reality to me is that we are immerged in the infinite ocean of the Supreme Consciousness or God and everything that we feel and think is just a smallest fraction of that Infinite Consciousness. We think ourselves to be the doers of all actions. But all that lies the Golden Hand of The Supreme Lord. We are part of his creations and He wants us to His beloved children who will devote all their actions and thoughts for Him. Hence we should lead a God-dependent humble life by concentrating ourselves on selfless and honest actions. There lies true happiness. There lies peace. Joy lies in giving, not in taking and consuming. We are born to selfless, as none of our possessions are truly ours. We have to leave behind all wealth and money at our last breath. The concentration of money in a few hands will lead to social anarchy and spiritual progress of the people will be jeopardised...

Survival of the fittest is not always true

I believe that all actions and reactions and interactions happen at the supreme will of God. Many of us may not believe such a thing. God created the universes and in creation lies the supreme pleasure. God is ever-happy. The pleasure and the pain we suffer from are the resultant actions of ours in our past and present lives. God lies invisibly in our hearts in the most delicate form and he watches everything to judge how much deviated we are from the feelings of our hearts. Our conscience tells about what is good and what is bad. These ethical values are the gifts of God.Whenever we go against the ethical values, God punishes us in His unique ways.The punishment can be in any form. The punishment can be in the form making us dirty rich, by taking away our mental peace, making us sleepless,making us suffer from ailments, deviating us from the path of devotion or Bhakti etc. etc. Hence to fulfill our will to remain happy and peaceful, we must follow our inner conscience and our hearts instead of using our brain only. Heart should rule the brain. Human survival solely depends upon the will of the God. Being physically fit is not enough to ensure our happiness,peace and survival. All these realizations are based on intuitive wisdom based on Meditative Living. Meditation and yoga with Spiritual Devotion can help us in the process of enlightenment of our souls.

Through Constant Remembrance of God(CRG), we live a better life. God is infinitely compassionate to His devotees. Excess of money and constantly running after it will make our lives hell. But who realizes such truths ? Everyone is of the feeling that money will solve their problems,give them comfort and pleasure. But in the world of Lord Krishna, the only wealth we should have is devotion(Bhakti) with infinite humility and complete surrendering to the Will of Him and detached work fro the sake of living devotees of Him.

Serving God through detachment...

On 09.03.2009 I have decided to spend my whole in the service of Lord Radha-Krishna,Lord Shiva and Lord Maa Kali. All my services are dedicated to Lord Krishna and my spiritual masters Late Ramakrishna Brajabashi and Sri Anukul Chandra. The money that I will earn will be spent in God's Name. My expenses will be just bare minimum for physical survival. I have no money for myself. I am a beggar. I beg for the compassion and blessings of God through the Bhakti-yoga and Karma-Yoga. I have nothing of my own. I am a beggar who sheds tears for the Compassion of Lord Radheyshyam. For the rest of my life, my mission is to be humble beggar at the Lotus Feet of Lord Krishna and my Gurus. I have no desire to live for myself, as a beggar it is my duty to beg for the Blessings of God. All other duties are to be maintained only for the sustenance of my spiritual begging for Bhakti(devotion). I will try to do such work which will intensify my devotion. I want to live for God and the living Gods and His services. I hereby donate myself to Lord Radheyshyam,Lord Shiva ,Lord Maa Kali, and My spiritual masters as ' Sadananda Krishnadas'(SKD) for the rest of my life. In every moment of my life, I wish to remain in touch with God and Gurus through enchanting of the Divine Names and prayers for liberation of my souls and souls of fellow beings. In every work of myself there will be a touch of humility,humanity and divinity.

Being bold and courageous...

To be bold and courageous and have the opportunity to live the life of a lion, one needs to truly honest to the core. If we are knwoledgeable enough, and honest both financially and legally, we can have a decent living and face difficult situations with serenity and peace. By timidity, we can achieve almost nothing in life. Our boldness and courage should be based upon true knowledge and philosophy. We should remain vigilant about the evil forces in the society and should have good people-networking and political and legal awareness to face the hardships of life. Nowadays, some special category of people who make quick money and get rich in a very short time has emerged.dly They are reckless and dare-devil. They hardly have any kind of honesty in life. But God keeps a balance about everything and those dishonest people generally get punished by Him in due course of time. This is my frim belief. I have been facing a lot of problems even after living with honesty and integrity. The turbulent periods never last for a long time, once I am honest to God. God is Omniscience. He only knows how I evolved into my present spiritual life and feelings. A tearful prayer to God cures many of the ills of our lives. Even in extreme hard-work,pleasure and pain, we should to pray to Him for our well-being and His kind Blessings. We are born to do that. We are born to realise God. We are born for others. Selfishness and greed are the greatest killers in human life. If we can control and overcome the hunger and desire for Ego-Sex-Power-Money(ESPM), we definitely transform our life into a Divine Life,a spiritual life, a life of peace and happiness. Happiness does not life in pleasure-seeking activities of a human being. It lies in alleviating the pains and distress of the needy and the fallen. I hereby donate myself to God and His Divine Services. I am not for myself. I am working for others. At least I am trying my best to live for the cause of others. Consumption of food,enjoyment of pleasures,selfishness,greed for luxury are poisons for me. I have come to realize these truths through prayers and meditation.

Patience and tolerance are the attributes of a winner

There will be many provocations in life,but we should keep cool if we have to be winners. Silence-Patience-Determination(SPD) is the combined quality of a winner. Material success is not the only criterion in life to remain happy. Happiness lies in working for some well-defined goals of life. For a family man like, the greatest priority in life is to try to keep my family members happy. For that I need money, knowledge,philosophy,meditation,fruitful works,a stable profession,good health, and a very positive attitude. Positive attitude cures many of our problems. There will be bad times.By praying to God and working for a mission and vision, we can overcome the problems. SPD will help us solve our problems better, as in SPD lies the root of creativity and innovation. I am trying to introduce Creativity and Innovation a part and parcel of my life. Daily Action Plan (DAP) will show the path of how well-managed a day will be. In a fast moving daily life, we need tremendous level of physical and mental energies. We must try to destroy our bad habits and cultivate such habits which lead to better health and a strong body. Weakness can never solve any problem. We should be strong enough to withstand the tremendous pressures of modern life and its changing values. To me life is silence ,happiness and work together. Life devoid of these three elements is an unrealised existence. The goal of life,to me, to understand and feel the Supreme Power or God through the processes of Silence,Happiness and Work. The work that we do should have the touch of selflessness to make feel happy. Selfishness is the food of the idiots.

are the greatest and most important activities of life.
Thoughts,Actions and Speeches should be integrated into the whole personality so that all these three components act coherently. This will result into integrity of character. Without integrity of character,no person can be called a human being. A person of integrity will remain cool in any circumstances. Idiots lose temper almost at every occasion, at every pretext.
