An example of toughness of purpose..

One of my students of pre-medical Physics qualified AIPMT and WBJEE , but could finally get a seat by a short margin. She decided to study medicine only and that was her only mission in life. She managed to get NOC from Govt. of India and secured a seat in MBBS in Dhaka Medical College, Bangladesh. Though she qualified for admission in Engineering, she simply did not change her mind for MBBS, a dream for a life-time for her.

Nowadays, students blindly follow a trend for higher studies ,without realizing whether they have aptitude for subjects to study and the resultant effect of this whole process is the sheer waste of human talents and energies...

We should always choose our specialized domain in a judicious manner for a life-time, so that we shall be having the right opportunity to excel in our own fields of study.

My new dream in professional life

SELF-PROMISE...

I want to be the teacher who will live by setting examples, by representing what I teach, a teacher with big passion and pleasure in teaching job...

I shall be the symbol of what I teach by WALKING THE TALK practices in real, daily life...

I want to work with pleasure only...

I shall be passionate and energetic in my classroom...

I SHALL MAKE THE LECTURE MORE AND MORE INTERESTING, THOUGHT-PROVOKING... AND SHALL BE INTERACTIVE WITH THE CLASS...

Listening skills is a key factor in understanding human behaviour....

More I listen to others, I receive a totally different dimension and a clear-cut ideas on motive and motivation of the person speaking to me. It is really an exciting experience for me to talk as  less as possible and absorbing selectively the views, opinions, ideas, emotions and personality of others.

To emerge as a management leader and a good teacher, one must devote more time in listening and talking briefly but clearly the key ideas so that people spontaneously come forward to implement the ideas talked about without any compromise with quality.

For people in marketing, to understand consumer behaviour  one must possess highest level of listening skills...by which one can understand  various details of a personality:

MOTIVATION
MOTIVES
ASPIRATIONS
GOALS
AIMS
INTELLECTUAL ABILITY
TEMPERAMENT...

Idiots only talk much and loud...

Empty vessels sound much.... in all situations and at all times

We must take enough time to decide:

TO TALK OR NOT TO TALK...
EXCEPT IN MATTERS OF EMERGENCY/ABSOLUTE NECESSITY....

Delicate aspects of Organizational behaviors decides the future prospect of personal growth & development

In education sector  the major factors deciding the future of a teacher can be summarized in point-form as follows:

  • being well-behaved and pleasing with students and colleagues
  • avoidance of hurting anyone
  • building rapport with learners
  • keeping safe distance from students and colleagues
  • to avoid arguments with anyone
  • keeping true focus on academics and finer points of the subjects taught
  • addressing finer issues and details with applications in the classroom
  • to be sincere and devoted for assigned jobs
  • to be involved in research in  some related research
  • to be strict at times on matters of principle
  • to maintain a balanced personality
  • to possess strong leadership qualities
  • to be assertive all the time in matters of teaching-learning process/administrative matters
  • ASSERTIVENESS & LEADERSHIP QUALITIES ARE THE BIGGEST QUALITIES

Finest self-management techniques

Management of anything requires a great deal of common-sense and concentration....Concentration is the toughest thing in one's own life, as this only attribute really decides the course of action in one's professional life as well as in personal life..

Without mental concentration, one good job can ever be done. Especially in academics, one needs a true friend in 'concentration' in most of the day's time...

Inspired by my friend Ms. Reshmi Banerjee

True mental concentration creates the following positive effects in life:

  • allowing sufficient time to understand  complex things
  • enhancing the power of listening
  • getting intuitive understanding of surrounding environment
  • creating and innovating in common affairs of life
  • power of innovation in technical matters
  • deeper understanding of 'nature'
  • creating positive atmosphere around one's own self
  • decision-making in trying situation
  • delivering situational leadership
  • mental concentration produces relaxation of body and mind and hence improves fitness
  • concentration produces the best possible solutions to the most difficult problems
  • concentration is equivalent to meditation and hence beneficial to both body and mind...
  • mental concentration generates creative ideas and produces works of art
  • the greatest works of art and creativity had been produced by deepest mental focus , courage and personal talent...
