It is difficult to be a good teacher...

A teacher should continuously be on the path improvements.
He/she has to put a lot of efforts on this aspects of life.

A teacher must have great patience...
A teacher must be able to control his senses...
A teacher must sympathetic to the needs of the students...
A teacher must go on learning throughout his/her life...
A teacher must devote some time for research activities...
A teacher must have an unprejudiced/unbiased views of life...

A teacher should be able to act as the role-model for the students...
This last quality is the biggest challenge of a teacher's life...
One has to reach a level of academic and leadership excellence for emerging as a role-model...
Hence a lot of hard work is needed....

One must be prepared for a lot of hard work to be an excellence teacher ...

Fighting the inner devils is most important

The inner devils such as lust,anger,infatuation,ego, and jealousy must be fought with for leading a life of inner peace and tranquility.

It is really difficult to control the senses and their indomitable urge to get satisfied. We only learn to control these, only after passing through fire of sufferings resulting from our wrong actions.

We need to suffer pain and agony to come out of the messes created by the wrong actions on our part.

Without suffering, we can not be 'pure', I believe.
For controlling the senses, we should adopt the spiritual path of life, where the enchanting of the Holy Names keeps our minds engaged, and we get lesser time to engage our senses to the path of fruitless , meaningless searches for transitory pleasures and occupations

We can nullify the actions of our senses by either continuous enchanting of Divine Names or by by getting involved in continuous actions that do some 'good' to the society.

The second option is better in the sense that some results of our actions could also be enjoyed with the blessings of God.

How to remain cool all the time ?

The best way is keep ourselves in some creative work which would be of some benefit to some people in our lives or otherwise. The attitude of sacrificing the results of our constant actions to God is the only means of fighting depression and frustration arising out mental pressures of performing better and better.

The best way to destroys our worries is that we should take up ONE IDEA AND ONE JOB AT A TIME for all our actions in daily life and we must know HOW TO FINISH A JOB AND STOP WORRYING ABOUT IT for ever.

NON-PERFORMANCE AND WASTEFUL, UNPRODUCTIVE THINKING ARE THE ROOT CAUSES OF PRESENT SYSTEM OF LIVING.

RELAX...RELAX... AND RELAX..

PERFORM AND PERFORM...

Apply DO IT NOW in daily life...

The oasis of happiness : my own way

The happiness lies in acting against my own weaknesses and winning over such pestering bad habits of mine. All the sources of my happiness lies within my self...I try to remind myself constantly.

I never try to find happiness outside my body and mind...
The real pleasure is the constant meditation on the formless self and its infinite variety of perceptual ecatasy. Everything is in me. I am not dependent on anyone or anything for my happiness. I never search for it, as I find it every moment in my body and mind...

I find ecstatic pleasure in thinking myself as a child of God, as a servant of God...A God-dependent life is the best thing in existence, as human being only limited control and knowledge of the true Self...Without the unconditional compassion of God, none can really achieve a life of true happiness and peace, as God only produces the results of all our earthly actions...

All sources of unhappiness lies in 'unwillingness to work'

Most of us expect that others will do the job...And why should I do it ? Everybody wants to managers and leaders...There are only good and dry lectures about 'doing', instead of doing the jobs with one's own hand...There are real good talkers, but few doers in the real life situations...

Doing things is always difficult...saying is quite easy...

All quarrels start when one has to do the job oneself...

We have little respect for work...we have enough for the super lecturers and motivators...

As we have enough excuses for not doing work, silent troubles begin in the form of cold mental war between the individuals...

In every situation, troubles start when assigned jobs/responsibilities are not carried out in a planned,systematic and organized manner by someone/some group...

Every body seems to running after quick name,fame,wealth,money ,power,pleasure etc. without doing much work or exertion...There lies the process of systematic and organized ways of bluffing and cheating, money laundering, and many such social vices...

The simple cause : UNWILLING TO WORK AND DESIRES FOR A SHARP RISE IN NAME-FAME-WELATH-MONEY-POWER-PLEASURE LADDER WITHOUT ANY REAL PHYSICAL WORK....

Is there any hope of improving things ?

I have been a keen observer of student-behaviors for about 16 years. Most of the students lack integrity in the sense that the qualities like punctuality,sincerity,dedication,truthfulness and respect for others have almost taken a back seat...

Many of the minds are distracted, and scattered.
But there can be improvements in behavioral patterns, only we ,the seniors, can become true leaders by our exemplary positive,systematic and tough actions on our part....

Yesterday's FRESHERS' WELCOME function at GNIT-KOLKATA was a beautiful experience for me, where Dr.AKB made a fantastic ppt-presentation about the profile of the college. The most charming part was the series of QUOTATIONS he cited during the entire lecture session.

The quotation from SWAMI VIVEKANANDA'S works on SUCCESS was befitting and timely for the occasion.

The idea behind being successful and happy lies in BEING A GOOD HUMAN BEING FIRST AND WORKING TOWARDS THE WELFARE OF OTHERS.

Everything else will be taken care of by God...

In this regard I should point out that we must regularly assess our ATTITUDES towards life and its multi-faceted affairs...
